Chris Weidman will be stepping into the octagon at UFC 205 when he battles fellow middleweight title contender Yoel Romero, but there is another fighter who is on Weidman’s mind right now -- UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping.
Weidman, when talking with Fox Sports, talked about a potential future fight with the middleweight champion and how easy the win would be for him to get.
"I beat Yoel, I get Bisping, that's an easy day," Weidman said. "He's a tough guy, he showed he's tough without a doubt but it might be one of my easiest fights I've had in years to get that fight with Bisping."
As for Bisping himself, he is coming off of a controversial decision victory over the now retired Dan Henderson at UFC 204. Bisping was able to retain his title in front of his fellow countrymen at that event. Weidman, Romero, Luke Rockhold and Jacare Souza are all virtually 'auditioning' for an upcoming title fight.
UFC 205 will be taking place on Saturday, November 12th from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Eddie Alvarez and Conor McGregor in the main event.
