Conor McGregor And Nate Diaz Won't Eat Their Words Regarding Steroids

MMA

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have both been rather outspoken about performance enhancing drugs in MMA, but it would appear both athletes were clean for UFC 202.

McGregor and Diaz weren't tested by the Nevada Athletic Commission for their monster fight at UFC 202, but were randomly tested by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). All of those tests came back clean.

Diaz famously professed "everybody's on steroids" when asked about the PED problem in MMA, and didn't step off of that in later months.

“No one ever says what people get busted for when they test positive for steroids,” Diaz said in an interview with 'The Buzzer'. “But when Nick got busted, ‘what did Nick Diaz get suspended for? Cannabis.’ How come we all know that? How come it never goes away? How come it’s repeatedly talked about all the time? Silva, when he f—-ng (said) he (was) taking Viagra or some sh-t. So anytime we want to say that we didn’t do steroids, we say we’re popping Viagra? Get the f–k out, I ain’t buying it. You guys all did steroids, like why are they hiding it from people? To make the sport look better? If anybody gets busted for something (and) no one’s saying what it is, it’s f—-ng steroids. And you’re all on steroids.”

Neither Diaz or McGregor have their next fights scheduled.
