Conor McGregor is back.
Conor McGregor announced that he will return to the cage to face Michael Chandler on June 29, 2024. The event will be part of UFC International Fight Week. McGregor said the fight would take place at middleweight (185 pounds).
McGregor has not fought since July 10, 2021 when he suffered a broken tibia against Dustin Poirier.

McGregor coached against Chandler on The Ultimate Fighter 31. Both men typically compete in the lightweight (155 pounds) division and neither has ever fought at middleweight.
Chandler last fought at UFC 281 in November 2022, losing to Poirier by submission. He is 1-3 in his last four fights.
McGregor is also 1-3 in his last four fights with his lone victory coming on January 18, 2020 at UFC 257 when he defeated Donald Cerrone by TKO.
