Conor McGregor is looking to return to boxing.
In recent weeks, rumors have been running rampant about Conor McGregor and his potential return to UFC. It appears that 'The Notorious One' could be focused on another venture though, one that would see him return to boxing.
On December 17, McGregor shut down rumors of a possible UFC fight with Ilia Topuria before also noting that he is in "preliminary agreements" with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India.
McGregor also stated that he'll seek his return to the Octagon after the exhibition with Paul.
The rumors of a bout with topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India.

I have agreed.
I will then seek my return to the Octagon.
Ilia Topuria responded to McGregor's post just a few hours later, saying he isn't interested in fighting him.
The rumors of bout with mchicken are false. I don't fight nor am I interested in fighting with a rapist.

Back in November, McGregor was found civilly liable of sexual assault in a civil case that was filed by Nikita Hand. In the case, Hand alleged that both McGregor and James Laurence sexually assaulted her in 2018. Laurence was found not guilty in the case.
McGregor has famously only competed in one professional boxing match before, as he faced and lost to Floyd Mayweather in 2017. McGregor also faced Michael McGrane in a exhibition boxing match back in 2019.
