Conor McGregor's has plenty of options for his next fight across three divisions, with one of those being a bout against UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez.
Bovada, has actually made a line for a hypothetical fight between Alvarez and McGregor, and made McGregor a -185 favorite, with Alvarez a +150 underdog.
There's no word on McGregor's next fight as of yet, but he recently was given a lengthy medical suspension that could push his next fight to 2017. UFC President Dana White recently said that McGregor's next fight must be against Jose Aldo or McGregor has to relinquish his UFC Featherweight Championship. Aldo is currently the UFC Interim Featherweight Champion.
On a side note, Bovada also placed betting lines for a possible McGregor fight against Jose Aldo, with McGregor as a -185 favorite and Aldo as a +150 underdog. Odds were also set for a possible third fight between McGregor and Diaz. McGregor is a -190 favorite and Diaz is a +155 underdog.
McGregor has stated after his UFC 202 win that he wants the third fight in their rivalry to take place at 155 pounds. McGregor was supposed to fight at 155 pounds at UFC 196 before his original opponent, Rafael dos Anjos, withdrew from the fight due to injury with less than two weeks before the fight, and Diaz stepped in to replace him, with the bout being moved to 170 pounds.
The way betting lines work is that if you bet $100 on the +150 underdog (Alvarez), you'd net $150. You would have to bet $185 on the -185 favorite McGregor to earn $100.
