UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor can add a new title to his list of accomplishments -- father.
The Irish MMA superstar’s girlfriend in Dee Devlin has given birth to a healthy baby boy, which the happy couple named Conor Jack McGregor.
"There's great news for the McGregor's and the Devlins," Tony McGregor, Conor's grandfather, told The Irish Mirror. "Baby Conor Jack McGregor was delivered last night at 8pm in the Coombe Hospital. He came in at eight pounds, 14 ounces. The whole family are absolutely delighted."
McGregor hasn’t competed since he defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC Lightweight Title at UFC 205 this past November. The champion announced shortly after UFC 205 that he would be taking a break from competition until the birth of his first child.
Although the newest member of the McGregor/Devlin family is just a day old, the child already has a verified Instagram account.
Outside of his parenting duties, the UFC Lightweight Champion has been campaigning for a super fight against boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
