When Conor McGregor "retired" before his planned UFC 200 fight with Nate Diaz, the wrestling world ran amok with rumors that McGregor would soon be trading the octagon for the squared circle in WWE.
Well, McGregor pretty much squashed any hope of that ever happening after the UFC 202 media conference call ended on August 5.
A reporter asked him about the possibilities of him appearing in WWE thanks to the success of the crossover between WWE and UFC at UFC 200, where Brock Lesnar defeated Mark Hunt. McGregor spewed venom to the WWE after Lesnar allegedly failed two drug tests in the lead up to his fight and on fight night itself.
"You know, I haven't really thought about it," McGregor said. "Those WWE guys are pussies, to be honest. They're messed up pussies if you ask me. I mean, Brock at the end of the day, was juiced up to the fucking eyeballs. So how can I respect that? The other guy [CM Punk] hasn't fought yet, so I don't know about him. There's some Dons in that wrestling game. The McMahons are Dons. Triple H is a Don. The wrestlers are pussies, man. That's a little more show business. This is the fight business."
McGregor is set to face Diaz at UFC 202 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 20. The entire conference call can be listened to in the video above.
