Dan Hooker Willing To Donate Half Of His Show Money To Charity To Fight Dustin Poirier

Dan Hooker was last seen in the co-main event of UFC 243, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Al Iaquinta.

A victorious Hooker would call out former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier after the bout, but Poirier would turn Hooker down, opting to wait for a potential rematch against former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor.

Hooker has upped the ante in his quest to fight Poirier, as the fighter has promised to donate half of his show money to Poirier’s charitable organization if Poirier accepts the bout.

That promise was made by Hooker through Twitter:

There has been no response yet from Poirier, who last competed in the main event of UFC 242, suffering a third round submission loss to UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Along with Poirier, every single fighter who is ranked ahead of Hooker in the UFC Lightweight Division rankings isn't booked for a fight at the moment.
