Dana White comments on Cain Velasquez's arrest
The details about former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez's arrest are now starting to come out and as more details emerge, more and more people in the MMA world are starting to comment.
The latest person to comment on the situation is the UFC president Dana White.
Several days ago, reports emerged that Velasquez was involved in a shooting which consisted of him opening fire at a car which at the time held three individuals. One of the three individuals in the car was the man who Velasquez was actually targeting and his name is Henry Eugene Goularte who has been accused of sexually abusing Velasquez's relative.
The felony charge which Goularte was hit with was "lewd and lascivious act with a child under the age of 14."
Now that details of the situation have started to emerge, many people specifically on social media and in the MMA space have publicly backed Velasquez and resonate with his actions.
One man who commented on the situation was Dana White. White expressed his empathy towards Velasquez and his family and even stated that if the same situation would've happened to us, we would do the same.
