Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. will face off in an exhibition bout this weekend and Dana White finds the rule set surrounding the encounter to be hysterical.
There are a lot of interesting rules surrounding the exhibition bout and White doesn’t mind taking a shot at those rules.
“It’s such a tough one to call,” White said at the UFC 255 post-fight press conference (via Damon Martin of MMA Fighting). “When’s the last time we saw either one of them fight? They’re not allowed to knock each other out? How do you enforce that? I’d like to bet that doesn’t happen. Can you bet on that?”
Some of the rules for the exhibition fight include stopping the fight if either fighter gets cut, no official judging or winner, two minute rounds and more.
White also takes a shot at the fact that fans cannot even bet on the bout between Tyson and Jones Jr.
“You can’t even bet on this fight? I did not know that,” White said. “I don’t even know what to say to that.”
