Dana White Says Brock Lesnar Could Get Next Heavyweight Title Shot

Rumors have been swirling for quite some time now that former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar could be returning to the UFC.

Although Lesnar isn’t officially fighting for the promotion at this time, a shot at the UFC Heavyweight Title could be coming his way according to UFC President Dana White.

“That’s a possibility,” White said at the UFC 25th Anniversary Press Conference. “He’s still under contract with the UFC, but we have not signed him to a fight. He’s still under contract with us, too. He still has fights left on his deal. He’s got to get back into the USADA pool.”

Lesnar is still under contract to the UFC according to White and the fighter still has to sign back up for the USADA drug testing program.

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier could be the heavyweight title holder at UFC 226 and he is excited for a chance to battle Lesnar.

“I think Conor (McGregor) called it, ‘Red Panty Night,'” Cormier said at the UFC 25th Anniversary Press Conference. “When you go on a card with Brock Lesnar, or fight Brock Lesnar, it’s like ‘Green Panty Night,’ because it’s raining money. When you fight Brock, you’re getting paid.”

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion still has a bout with Roman Reigns to contend with first, which takes place at WWE Wrestlemania 34.
