Danielle Taylor earned her second victory in the UFC when she defeated Jessica Penne by decision at UFC Fight Night 108.
With two out of three wins in her UFC run, the female star is looking to achieve her dream of winning the UFC Women’s Strawweight Title.
“I feel like it’s an advantage,” Taylor told MMA Junkie. “I’m happy. I like my height. I made it this far, and I plan on eventually, one day, being the champ.”
Taylor is one of the smallest fighters to ever compete in the UFC after 5 feet tall, but smaller size or not, the fighter doesn’t care who the UFC gives her to fight next.
“Whoever they throw at me (I will fight),” Taylor said. “Me and my coach, my team, we’re all going to get together, and we’re going to keep growing from here. All it is, is we’ll keep growing. Whoever they throw, hey, we’ll be ready for them.”
The other win that Taylor has earned in UFC competition came over Seo Hee Ham by decision at UFC Fight Night 101.
Even though she has yet to win gold in the UFC, the female strawweight star is a former two time King Of The Cage Women’s Strawweight Champion.
