Darren Stewart has fought twice under the UFC banner, with the former welterweight fighter earning himself a record of 0-1, with a no contest.
However, the fighter feels a change is needed for his career, and has announced he will be moving up a weight class to the middleweight division.
The fighter made the announcement via Twitter and Instagram:
Tomorrow the journey to middleweight starts so today I best make the most of it. @Loadz and @moe_tdp are doing it with me

In those two previous appearances inside the Octagon, Stewart fought Francimar Barroso to a no contest at UFC Fight Night 100 and then lost a decision in the rematch at UFC Fight Night 107.
There is no middleweight division debut fight or date set yet for Stewart.
