Darren Till is amped up.

Tonight the 'American Airlines Center' in Dallas, Texas will play host to UFC 228. The event will be headlined by the UFC Welterweight Championship bout between Darren Till and the champion Tyron Woodley. The story coming into their bout had to do with the possibility of Darren Till not making weight. This past May at UFC Fight Night 130: Liverpool, Darren Till was still able to compete after missing weight coming into his bout against Stephen Thompson.

At the UFC 228 weigh-in, Darren Till quickly made his way to the scale and it was announced that he made weight for the fight against Tyron Woodley and shortly after that was announced, Till flipped the double-birds to all who criticized him about receiving this opportunity after he missed weight in his last fight.

The UFC Welterweight Championship fight is officially set as the 17-3-1 Woodley will clash with the 17-0-1 Till. Ahead of their bout, Darren Till spoke with TMZ Sports and stated that making weight was easier than what he was giving off to the media.

“No. It was easy, it was just easy. I even built myself up a lot to make it feel like it was harder than it was gonna be so it was easy.” Till said.

The 25-year old Darren Till was then asked to send a direct message to his UFC 228 opponent as if he were watching and Till had the following to say:

“Be ready because I am fu****g one-hundred percent ready. Lets do this s**t." He said.

Darren Till also stated that he will simply be the fighter tonight and that is how he will defeat Tyron Woodley to become UFC Welterweight Champion. Be on the look out for Fightful's live coverage article of UFC 228 to keep up with the the action on the night.
