Davey Grant Undergoes Surgery To Repair Broken Jaw

Davey Grant and Martin Day kicked off the UFC 251 preliminary card, with Grant scoring a third round knockout win.

That victory didn’t come without its fair share of consequences, as Grant suffered a broken jaw in the first round of the bout against Day.

*Injury update Unfortunately in my fight on Saturday night I fractured my jaw in 2 places in the first round! After getting home yesterday for barely an hour I was shipped off to hospital again and I’m now awaiting surgery to put it right today. Few weeks off to rest then back at it and on to the next! ----

There is no word at this time as to when Grant will compete in the Octagon again, but more should become known as the fighter heals up from thee surgery.
