UFC middleweight contenders Derek Brunson and Dricus Du Plessis are set to face off at UFC 285 on March 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto was the first to report the news of the matchup, although the promotion itself has yet to confirm anything regarding the booking. Brunson is 5-1 in his last six Octagon appearances and will look to bounce back from a second-round KO loss to Jared Cannonier at UFC 271 last February. Du Plessis on the other hand is on a six-fight winning streak and will try to build on a third-round submission victory over Darren Till at UFC 282 this month.
