Derrick Lewis is out of UFC Edmonton.
Lewis, who was originally scheduled to fight to fight Jhonata Diniz at UFC Edmonton on November 2nd is now out of his bout at the event.
The UFC annouced late on Friday night that due to medical reasons, Lewis would be out of the bout. Lewis had skipped the ceremonial weigh-in's on Friday, but it was said that Derrick would still be fighting at UFC Edmonton. That of course, did not turn out to be the case.

Lewis had a non-weight cutting-related medical issue.
While it is not known at this time what medical issue took Lewis out of the fight, the UFC claim that it is due to something outside of Lewis' weight cut.
Lewis has had a history of back problems that have forced him out of fights in the past. Due to his withdrawal, Jasmine Jasudavicius vs. Ariane da Silva has been moved to the main card of the November 2nd show.
