Former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and Pedro Munhoz have verbally agreed to a bout at UFC 269 on December 11.
MMA Fighting's Damon Martin and Guilherme Cruz were the first to report the news of the matchup, although the promotion has yet to officially announce it themselves. Cruz is 1-2 in his last three Octagon outings and will look to build off of his split-decision win over Casey Kenney at UFC 259. Munhoz on the other hand is 1-3 in his last four fights and is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to former UFC featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, at UFC 265.
