Timur Valiev has suffered an injury and he will not be competing for the vacant WSOF Bantamweight Title at the WSOF 35. Donovan Frelow has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Bekbulat Magomedov for the gold.

Magomedov (17-1-0) has won just one of two fights under the WSOF banner, defeating Jesse Brock and suffering a defeat to Josh Hill. Magomedov started off his professional MMA career on a sixteen fight undefeated streak, an undefeated streak that has lasted over four years. Magomedov has earned seventeen wins thus far as a pro, with seven of those wins being first round finishes.

His last appearance came at the WSOF 24 in October 2015.

World Series Of Fighting 35 takes place on Saturday, March 18 from the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York with Blagoy Ivanov and Shawn Jordan headlining. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event.
