This past summer didn’t start off as one of the best for Elias Theodorou, who was cut from the UFC a short time after a loss to Derek Brunson at UFC Fight Night Ottawa.
However, after a brief break from professional MMA competition, it has been announced by Theodorou that he is returning to action this December:

No opponent has been announced for Theodorou at this time, but one should be announced in the coming weeks.
Theodorou (16-3-0) won eight of eleven fights while competing in the UFC, with notable victories coming over Sam Alvey, Cezar Ferreira, Daniel Kelly, Trevor Smith and Eryk Anders. Theodorou was the middleweight winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter Nations, defeating Sheldon Westcott in the finals. Theodorou is going to be competing outside of the UFC’s auspices for the first time in over six years, but has gone undefeated as a professional MMA fighter when fighting outside of the promotion.
Prospect Fighting Championships 12 takes place on Friday, December 6 from the St. Denis Centre in Windsor, Ontario, Canada with TJ Laramie and Andrew Cruz headlining.
