Emil Meek earned a unanimous decision win over the returning Jordan Mein in his UFC debut at UFC 206. The fighter did suffer a loss that weekend, however -- in the form of his beard. The Ontario Athletic Commission (OAC) forced him to shave it off prior to UFC 206.
The reason that the OAC forced Meek to shave his beard is a rule that the commission has about all fighters having a well maintained appearance upon competing in a combat sport.
Meek first took to his Twitter to show off his missing beard:

Meek also took to his Facebook to detail his shaved beard conundrum:
Meek came to MMA prominence when he defeated UFC veteran and former World Series Of Fighting Welterweight Champion Rousimar Palhares at Venator FC III. He won that fight with his beard intact.
