Andrea Lee knows what is at stake against Roxanne Modafferi at UFC Vegas 10.
Lee (11-4) caught up with Fightful ahead of Saturday's fight. "KGB" admitted the pressure is on her as she enters the fight on the first two-fight losing streak of her professional or amateur careers.
"I guess me because I've had two losses. I guess there is more pressure on me," Lee confessed. "I don't want to go in there and end up losing another decision. I'm all in for this fight."
Lee lost a split decision to Modafferi in the former's second pro fight at Invicta FC 10 in 2014. Lee knows that Modafferi, who has alternated wins-and-losses in her last seven fights, is a game opponent.
"I think it's her persona, it's just her character. It's how she represents herself. Everyone underestimates that. She is so sweet. She has that little nerdy look to her. Not in a bad way. Looking at me, people are like, 'You don't really look like a fighter.' But if you look at Roxy you really wouldn't think she is a fighter. She carries herself so well and is always so sweet. People underestimate her based on the way she is. Her character, you know?" Lee explained. "I fought her and so I know not to underestimate her. I never underestimate anyone. She is always a big underdog and she always comes in upsetting somebody. I'm prepared this time."
