After a lengthy UFC run, Ryan Bader made the leap to Bellator MMA in a move that has paid off dividends and led to a headlining spot and light heavyweight champion.

Bader is slated to face top contender Linton Vassell in the headlining bout of November 3's Bellator 186 show, and told Fightful's James Lynch he wants to make quick work of his adversary.

"I see it as me going out there and being able to do what I want. Taking the fight into the second round, maybe finish in the third. Last fight went the distance. I want to get in there and get out with a finish for sure," Bader told Fightful.com.

Leading into Bellator 186 is Halloween week. While Bader has indulged in some interesting costumes in the past, he unfortunately has to focus on the task ahead.

"Halloween was one of my favorites. Carebears, Smurfs, female bodybuilders. We'll have to miss it this year," said Bader.

In the full interview, Ryan Bader (23-5) discusses his upcoming title defense against Linton Vassell (19-5, 1 NC) at Bellator 186 on November 4. Ryan also talks about winning the title in June over Phil Davis, who he's brought in for this training camp and what he's watching on Netflix.
