UFC Vegas 12 will move forward with one less fight after Cortney Casey vs. Priscila Cachoeira was nixed from the card.
Casey vs. Cachoeira was scrapped from the lineup after Cachoeira struggled with weight cutting issues. Casey's camp confirmed the news with Fightful following an initial report by Combate. MMA Fighting's Guillherme Cruz says the two parties had agreed to move weight classes; however, Cachoeira fell and hit her head on a bathub.
Update: Priscila Cachoeira was having a tough weight cut and had already agreed to moving the fight to 135, but slipped and fell while cutting weight, hitting the back of her head on the bathtub. Cachoeira is fine but still under observation at a local hospital in Las Vegas. https://t.co/uwR3NcM6JZ
