Drakkar Klose was last seen in action at UFC on Fox 31, defeating Bobby Green by way of unanimous decision.
The lightweight prospect did enter the Octagon with a lot of knowledge about Green, mainly because his striking coach used to be Green’s striking coach.
“(The game plan was) to just go out there and fight, I have the same striking coach (that Green had) from a few years back. I knew a lot, he told me a lot about Bobby…his tendencies and all that stuff. Just trying to go out there and execute, getting the victory pretty much,” says Klose in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.
Klose has now won four of five fights under the UFC banner and currently riding a two bout winning streak.
A win over an experienced fighter like Green has helped Klose continue to grow and improve as a professional MMA fighter.
“Just growth, you know what I mean? Just going fifteen minutes with Bobby…he’s fought some of the best, that just gives me more confidence going into the next fight because he has fought the best and I’m on my way up to potentially fighting some of the best,” says Klose.
There is no word yet as to whom Klose will fight next, but Klose did say during the interview that he'd like to compete next at UFC Fight Night Phoenix.
