Elias Theodorou Says USADA agents watched him urinate.
Going into his next fight against Brad Tavares, Elias Theodorou's urine was analyzed for banned substances. On Holy Smokes Fightful MMA's podcast, Theodorou said The US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) sent agents to collect his samples at home. They could not find his house, so he was asked to go to his gym.
"It was actually funny because for whatever reason there was some kind of mix up. They couldn't find my place so they called me and are like 'Um...can you come in?' It was a weird little mix up in regards to they couldn't find my actual house and Tri-Star's right next door to it so they're like 'can you just come in, because we couldn't find you?' I'm like 'Yeah, no problem.' So I helped USADA this time around," said Theodorou.
Host of the podcast, "Showdown Joe" Ferraro asked Theodorou if the agent watched him urinate. Theodorou confirmed.
"One fake cock ruined it for everyone," said Theodorou.
He was referencing products like The Whizzanator which are "synthetic urine systems" and include a prosthetic penis.
On his Instagram, he posted a picture with urine analysis paper work and credited his sponsor for providing safe and clean supplements.
Also on the podcast, Theodorou talked about Demetrious Johnson's situation and his own upcoming fight. On July 7th, Theodorou will fight Brad Tavares on the main card of The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale in Paradise Nevada. Fightful MMA will be providing live coverage and recapping podcast.
