Fightful's Elias Theodorou has a big fight this Sunday at UFC Halifax, but that didn't stop him from fulfilling his weekly duties on the Fightful MMA Podcast.
Theodorou spoke to co-host Showdown Joe Ferraro about his upcoming bout against the surging Cesar Ferreira, and pointed out some of the perceived holes in his opponent's game.
"I think Cesar is my toughest test in the sense that he's riding a three fight winning streak, he's starting to get confident. Away from the rocky start he's had... I think he's very chinny. He got rocked multiple times, he fought tomato cans on the ground. Pure kickboxers. People that accepted his will. I don't think I'll fold under that weight. That's the difference between me and the three people he's currently beaten," said Theodorou on the Tuesday Fightful MMA Podcast.
The Pert Plus sponsored Theodorou noted that he's studied Ferreira, and won't hand over a win as he think's Cesar's previous opponents have.
"He's been in there with tough competition, but he's been stopped. Whether it's in the fights he's won - he's been rocked. I think his opponents gave him the win," Theodorou explained.
Theodorou will take on Ferreira this Sunday at UFC Halifax on Fox Sports 1.
