Kevin Aguilar is set to make his UFC debut at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale, facing Rick Glenn in a featherweight division affair.

This bout is a short notice opportunity for Aguilar, who only got the two for the fight two weeks before the TUF 28 Finale.

“We found out two weeks prior to the fight and they kind of just called us and said ‘hey, we need you short notice’ and I’m like ‘oh man.’ I just got like very nervous, but when the UFC calls…you show up, you go show up and put on a show,” says Aguilar in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.

Aguilar did get a shot to get a UFC contract by competing on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 12, but didn’t get one despite winning on that night.

A newly signed Aguilar may enter the UFC as the LFA Featherweight Champion, but Aguilar knows that he is on the bottom rung of the ladder in the UFC.

“Absolutely (I’ll fight anyone), Bobby Moffett…anybody in the division who they throw at me…I want to fight. I want to always make it a great fight, I’m starting at the bottom of the UFC. So they’re gonna throw me opponents and I’m gonna run through them and keep climbing the ladder. That’s how I want to do it man,” says Aguilar.

UFC Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale takes place on Friday, November 30 from the Pearl Theatre At the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada with Kamaru Usman and Rafael Dos Anjos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
