Rick Glenn needed a new opponent for the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale after Arnold Allen went down due to injury.
It would appear that Glenn got that opponent because a report from Mike Heck of Fan Sided says that Kevin Aguilar has agreed to fight him on short notice.
Glenn (21-5-1) has won three of five during his UFC tenure, with those victories coming over the trio of Phillipe Nover, Gavin Tucker and Dennis Bermudez. Glenn is a former World Series Of Fighting Featherweight Champion, defeating Georgi Karakhanyan to win the gold at the WSOF 10. Glenn has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter, but none of those defeats have come by way of KO/TKO.
Aguilar (15-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a seven fight winning streak. Aguilar did compete on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 12, defeating Joey Gomez by split decision. Aguilar is a former Legacy Fighting Alliance Featherweight Champion, defeating Tony Kelley to win the gold at Legacy FC 57.
UFC Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale takes place on Friday, November 30 from the The Palms At The Pearl Concert Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada with Kamaru Usman and Rafael Dos Anjos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
