Felder worked as an announcer on Dana White's Contender Series, as well as providing color commentary for UFC and serving on UFC on Fox panels. After his fight, he caught up with James Lynch of Fightful.com and said that his fellow Roufusport teammates' success on Friday at the TUF 26 Finale helped motivate his Saturday night success.

"I put my whole six to eight weeks there, and they're my brothers. To make that walk together, never have I felt like that going into a fight. I know that if I fall and it doesn't work out, we did everything that we could to prepare for him. This is one of the first teams I've been with where they don't disappear, they're not talking trash on their fellow teammates. There's none of that crap in our gym. We're a small gym, we train together every day, go out together, eat together, take care of each other," said Felder.

The broadcaster and fighter would also tell Fightful that he hopes to compete in a five round fight next, and is at the end of his contract, but plans on staying with the UFC.
