Marvin Vettori took Israel Adesanya to a split decision loss in 2018, but Neiman Gracie is confident the foes won't reach the scorecards a second time.
Gracie (10-2) recently caught up with Fightful and talked about the improvements his teammate Vettori has made. Despite losing a closely contested fight the first time, Vettori ended up in the slow lane to contention while Adesanya rocketed up the ranks.
"Definitely. I think if they fight right now, it will be totally different fight. Marvin is much more dangerous standing up, but I think that his wrestling and jiu-jitsu has gone to another level. That would be a big, big area for him to bring the fight," Gracie said. "I think it would be Marvin Vettori finishing Adesanya by submission in the third round."
UFC Vegas 23 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, April 10. The card will air on ABC and is headlined by Marvin Vettori vs. Kevin Holland. Keep up with Fightful for all your event-related coverage.
