Terrion Ware returns to action next month at UFC Fight Night Moscow, facing Merab Dvalishvili in a bantamweight division attraction.
The UFC is holding their first ever event in Russia with UFC Fight Night Moscow, but Ware expects the travel to be similar to that for UFC Fight Night London.
“I think that I’m going out there a couple of days earlier than normal, just to kind of get used to the time change and the weather and all that stuff. It should be fine, I mean with London…London was an eleven hour flight. Same thing here, like an eleven/twelve hour flight, I see it being about the same and I was able to acclimate to the schedule out in London last time,” says Ware in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.
Dvalishvili and Ware are a combined 0-5-0 under the UFC banner, making their bout in Moscow even more important.
Ware knows he needs the big win in Moscow and the fighter believes that testing Dvalishvili’s chin will get the job done.
“I see it being an all-out action-packed fight, he’ll try to take me down mostly and I see me just defending them. I see me just attacking him and get the knockout, he knocked himself out in his last fight, so who knows where his head is at right now. I’m definitely going to go out there and test his chin,” says Ware.
UFC Fight Night Moscow takes place on Saturday, September 15 from the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia with Mark Hunt and Alexey Oleinik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
