MMA

Eryk Anders is back in the Octagon at UFC 231, facing Elias Theodorou in a middleweight division clash.

There has been some trash talking between Anders and Theodorou heading into the bout, but Anders plans on letting his hands do the talking at UFC 231.

“I mean to me…it ain’t a whole lot of trash talk, I said what I said. The papers are signed and now there’s not really a need to sign anything, the hands are gonna do the talking on December 8. I’m not really sure what he’s saying or what he’s got going on, I’m planning on getting in there and just work on December 8,” says Anders in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.

A win for Anders at UFC 231 could put him in the middleweight division top 15, especially since Theodorou is coming into the bout ranked #14.

While some fighters may be a little gun shy in revealing their game plan on fight night, its not an issue is the slightest with Anders.

“This is definitely no secret, my game plan when I get in there to fight and that;s to get a finish. I’m definitely looking to get a finish, whether it would be a knockout…TKO or I might even throw a submission in there,” says Anders.

UFC 231 takes place on Saturday, December 8 from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with Max Holloway and Brian Ortega headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
