Sunday, October 13 is going to be a big day for One Championship because the promotion is going to be celebrating their hundredth event with two cards on the same day.
One Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong has released the cards for One Championship: Century, with those events being dubbed Part 1 and Part 2.
Kicking things off is going to be One Championship: Century Part 1, which is going to be headlined by a women’s atomweight title bout as Angela Lee puts the gold on the line against women’s strawweight champion Xiong Jing Nan. Other notable bouts on part one will see Demetrious Johnson face Danny Kingad in the One Flyweight World Grand Prix Finals, Eddie Alvarez face Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev in the One Lightweight World Grand Prix Finals and Yushin Okami versus Agilan Thani.
The celebration comes to an end with One Championship: Century Part 2, which is headlined by a light heavyweight title bout as Aung La N Sang puts the gold on the line against heavyweight champion Brandon Vera. Other notable bouts on the card include Bibiano Fernandes defending the bantamweight title against Kevin Belingon, Arjan Singh Bhullar facing Mauro Cerilli, Shinya Aoki against Honorio Banario and a four pack of bouts pitting Shooto champions against Pancrase champions.
One Championship: Century takes place on Sunday, October 13 from the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan with Angela Lee and Xiong Jing Nan headlining part one, while Aung La N Sang and Brandon Vera headlines part two.
