Former MMA Fighter Cedric Marks Charged With A Third Murder

Cedric Marks, a former professional MMA fighter, who is suspected of killing an ex-girlfriend and another man in January of 2019, has now been accused of a third murder.

MMA Junkie is reporting that Mark has been charged with second degree murder after the slaying of April Pease, who was killed over a decade ago in 2009. The report states that Pease was abducted from a Minnesota domestic violence shelter in 2009 after being discovered by Marks and girlfriend Kellee Sorenson.

Marks allegedly would later tell Sorenson that he killed Pease before removing the victim's hands and teeth so that Pease couldn’t be identified. It is unknown if Pease’s body has ever been discovered, but police believe she was buried in either North Dakota or South Dakota. Pease, who was the mother of one of Marks’ children, was allegedly in a custody dispute with Marks at the time of the murder.

There is no word yet on what additional charges may be added to Marks’ current list of charges, as the former professional MMA fighter has now allegedly killed a total of three people in the last decade-plus.
