Wladimir Klitschko vs. Anthony Joshua (c): Unified IBF and vacant WBA "super" world heavyweight championship bout
Round 1: Joshua and Klitschko trade quick and short punches. Joshua hits a short hook and the two get tangled up. Klitschko throws a left jab and Joshua does the same. Joshua is the aggressor in te first half of the fight. Klitschko lands a quick left jab on Jab. Joshua connects with a body shot, but Klitschko minimizes the damage. Joshua lands a right hand that grazes off Klitschko's head. Klitschko throws.

Round 2: Klitschko beigns with a right hand and Joshua comes up with a straight left. Joshua scores with a jab and Joshua is extending his left hand to keep his distance. Joshua lunges forward with a straight left jab. Joshua is landing more shots and Klitschko dodged a right overhead punch. Both men are trying to figure each other out. Klitschko is trying to get up close against Joshua using feints, but is unsuccessful.

Round 4: Klitschko starts with a solid 1-2 punch, his cleanest punch connected in the fight. The two men clinch again. Joshua lands a hard right hand, but it doesn't fully connect. The two men clinch again and Joshua gets a stern warning for dirty hitting. Joshua lands a hard right to Klitschko's body. Counter right by Joshua and Klitscko is still gun shy after the solid start in the round. They cinch and Joshua hits a couple of short right hooks to the boy to end the round.

Round 5: Joshua explodes out of the gate and lands several solid hooks and uppercuts, hurts and cuts Klitschko and Joshua knocks down Klitschko. After the knockdown, Klitschko gets his turn at numerous flurries and Joshua is then tired and eats a hard left hook from Klitschko.

Round 6: Joshua throws a few body shots and Klitschko is jumping back and forth, showing a spring in his step after being knocked down. Joshua's mouthpiece flies out and then Klitschko gets his revenge by knocking down Joshua. Klitschko is on the offensive and has Joshua in the corner. Klitschko lands a clubbing right hand to Joshua and the two men clinch once more. Joshua eats another left jab.

Round 7: Joshua tries to attack the body, but Klitschko's punches are more solid. The two men exchange numerous punches and then clinches. This is a slower-paced round than in the previous two rounds. Klitschko lands a jab and Joshua is still right next to the ropes and giving way to Klitschko's footwork. Joshua lands a left hook.

Round 8: Joshua starts with a stiff left and the two men clinch. Joshua then throws the jab much more effectively. The two men clinch once more. Joshua hits a left hook to Klitschko's temple, but it doesn't land cleanly. Klitschko lands a left jab. Klitschko then hits a stiff right jab and Joshua responds with one of his own.

Round 9: Joshua throws a body shot and connects. The two men clinches, but not before Klitschko lands a stiff jab. Joshua is in trouble. Hard jab and short right inside from Klitschko. Joshua throws a hard left hand, his first power punch in a good while. Joshua lands with an uppercut and is now digging the body. The two men clinch once more.

Round 10: Joshua catches his second wind and starts the round with a 1-2. Joshua then lands a left jab. The two men exchange overhead punches and then Joshua throws a counter right hand punch. Joshua comes in with a right jab, but is still trying to pull off several combinations. Joshua lands a left hand and the two men clinch once more. Joshua dodges a right hook and Joshua counters. Klitschko lands a left to end the round.

Round 11: Joshua starts off very well landing a right and Klitschko is moving back, getting rocked in the opening seconds of the round. Joshua lands a short left hand before Klitschko clinches. Joshua knocks down Klitschko for the second time this fight and once he gets back up, Joshua is back to attacking the head and Klitschko goes down again! Referee stops the fight and Joshua is the new face of heavyweight boxing.
Official result: Anthony Joshua defeated Wladimir Klitschko via TKO, round 11, 2:25, to retain the IBF world heavyweight title and win the vacant WBA "super" heavyweight championship.
