Gervonta Davis Ordered To Serve Remainder Of Home Detention Sentence In Jail

Undefeated three-division world champion, Gervonta "Tank" Davis, was taken into police custody on Thursday in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Baltimore Banner's Justin Fenton was the first to report the news, confirming with Sheriff Sam Cogen that Davis was jailed following his home detention sentencing last month, stemming from a November 2020 hit-and-run accident. Davis’ attorney, Michael Tomko, told The Baltimore Banner that the “impromptu hearing" was held at 5:00 PM yesterday and that Davis was ordered to serve out the rest of his 90-day sentence in jail by Judge Althea M. Handy.
