Greg Hardy Wins Amateur MMA Debut

Former NFL star Greg Hardy made his amateur MMA debut this past weekend at Rise Of The Warrior 21 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

The former football player took on Joe Hawkins, who was also making his amateur MMA debut. Hardy didn’t take long to dispatch his opponent because he earned a KO victory in just 32 seconds.

Sports Illustrated provided highlights of the former NFL star's fight via Twitter:

This run in MMA starts a new chapter for the former football player, who was convicted on domestic violence charges during his days on the Dallas Cowboys. However, the charges were later dropped and the former football player never returned to the league.

American Top Team (ATT) is where the former football player trains at and where he plans to continue training at as his career moves forward.

There is no word at this time where Hardy returns to action and whether or not his next fight is taking place as a pro or amateur competitor.
