A bantamweight division attraction for UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires was announced during the UFC 228 broadcast as Guido Cannetti faces Marlon Vera.
Cannetti (8-3-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC tenure, with the last fight being a unanimous decision win over Diego Rivas at UFC Fight Night Chile. Cannetti has suffered three defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of them have come by way of submission. Cannetti is competing for the third time in 2018, making this year the most active year of his professional MMA career, which began in December of 2007.
Vera (11-5-1) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Wuliji Buren at UFC 227. Vera has seen seven of his professional MMA bouts go the distance, with the competitor holding a 2-5-0 record in those encounters. Vera has previously competed at six “Fight Night” events and he has been victorious in three of them.
UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires takes place on Saturday, November 17 from Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina with Neil Magny and Santiago Ponzinibbio headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
