The former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo is set to re-enter the USADA testing pool ahead of a potential return to the Octagon — this and much more on Monday's social media roundup.
Henry Cejudo to re-enter the USADA testing pool
After constant talk of a return since his retirement from the sport back in 2020, former two division UFC champion Henry Cejudo is finally set to re-enter the USADA testing pool which would allow him to make a return to the Octagon.
Cejudo shockingly announced his retirement from MMA after he finished Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 to retain his UFC bantamweight title.
Many fans would've thought that after beating such a legend like Dominick Cruz, Cejudo's work in the UFC was far from done and he would go on to defend his title many more times in the future, however, Cejudo said in his post fight interview that desires to start a family as well as himself feeling like he had accomplished everything he set out to do in his career was why he was retiring.
It was announced this morning by Cejudo's manager Ali Abdelaziz that Cejudo will return to the USADA testing pool. Rules state that a fighter must be tested for six months in the pool before they can return to competition.

During his brief retirement, Cejudo has called out many fighters including Petr Yan, Aljamain Sterling, Alexander Volkanovski and even Conor McGregor.
Who would you like to see Cejudo fight when he returns?

Is this the most well timed piece of commentary ever?
During the peak GSP era in the UFC, there weren't a lot of fighters who were as good or as exciting as Johnny Hendricks.
Hendricks possessed fantastic wrestling and dynamite power in his hands.
In one of his fights on his win streak in the lead up to fight GSP, Hendricks produced an incredible knock out win over Jon Fitch. However, the KO itself might not have been the best part of the fight, it was probbaly Mike Goldberg's impeccably timed commentary.
This has gotta be the best timing on commentary ever pic.twitter.com/RcQgYJUYJ7

Muhammad Mokaev wants to fight Kai Kara-France
Despite only being one fight into his UFC career, Muhammad Mokaev has claimed that he would like to fight Kai Kara-France next.
Mokaev made his UFC debut at UFC London last month where he impressively submitted Cody Durden in under a minute.
Even though the fight will probably not happen, Mokaev is keen to call Kara-France out whilst he waits for his title shot.
