Following Islam Makhachev's dominant win over Charles Oliveira at UFC 280, he faces off with the current UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski who has pretty much completely cleared out the featherweight division and has nothing left to prove at 145.
The two verbally agreed to fight each other early next year and the fight has now been made official.

This is a fascinating match up between two fighters who so far in their respective careers have been dominant in their divisions.
Volkanovski will of course have to bulk up a lot to make the big size difference count as little as possible, however, with home support from the crowd he will have in Perth, this could spur on Volkanovski and really help him on fight night.
How do you think this fight will go?
Will Makhachev get another dominant win on his record or will Volkanovski become a two weight world champion?
