Jake Paul, Tyron Woodley Make $2 Million Each For Boxing Matchup

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul's both made millions off of their boxing bout on Sunday night in Cleveland, Ohio.

MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn was the first to report the news that both Woodley and Paul were paid $2 million each for their eight-round cruiserweight matchup. The documents obtained by MMA Junkie are apparently from the Ohio State Athletic Commission. The payout would without question be the biggest of Woodley's career, as the largest fight purse of his UFC tenure according to MMA Salaries was $590,000 for his victory against Darren Till at UFC 228 in September 2018. The reported $2 million payouts for Paul and Woodley don't include any additional money added from pay-per-view buys, ticket sales, or merchandise sales.
