Jared Gordon made a successful promotional debut at UFC Fight Night: Oklahoma City, defeating Michel Quinones by TKO.

With his UFC debut behind him, the victorious Gordon now wants to face fellow featherweight Artem Lobov in the Octagon.

“I always think about the task at hand, but I would love to fight Artem Lobov,” Gordon said after the event. “I think I would crush him.”

Gordon was discovered by UFC President Dana White on the reality show “Dana White’s Lookin’ For A Fight.”

Lobov himself is taking a little break from MMA action, as he is helping UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor prepare for his super fight against Floyd Mayweather.

Whether Gordon fights Lobov or not down the line, the fighter knows that he’ll be facing top ten opposition soon enough.

“In the end of 2017, if everything goes well and I’m healthy, I see myself fighting a top-10 guy, and then 2018, 2019, winning the belt,” Gordon said.

Prior to his UFC just at UFC Fight Night: Oklahoma City, the featherweight star held the Cge Fury Fighting Championships Featherweight Title and a Duelo De Giagantes Featherweight Champion. The fighter relinquished both of those championships when he signed a UFC contract.
