Jason Jackson is the current Victory Fighting Championships Welterweight Champion and the current Titan Fighting Championships Welterweight Champion.
With two belts now around his waist, the fighter is wondering just when the UFC will be calling him for an appearance in the Octagon.
“I was going to ask you (why I haven’t gotten the call), because I don’t know what’s going on,” Jackson said on MMA Junkie Radio.
Jackson was also a cast member on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 21, but was eliminated in his second fight on the reality show. The fighter is even willing to step up on short notice if that’s what it will take to get him in the Octagon.
“Those are the fights I love,” he said. “That’s when everybody’s going to know who I am. Give me the fight that I’m supposed to lose.”
When Jackson won the Titan Fighting Championships Welterweight Title in December 2016, the TUF veteran did so by defeating UFC veteran Dhiego Lima by first round TKO. UFC fans have had the opportunity to watch Jackson compete before, because his last three fights in the Titan Fighting Championships and Victory Fighting Championships have all aired live on UFC Fight Pass.
