Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Andrea Lee Off UFC On Fox 31

MMA

A women’s flyweight division attraction has been pulled from UFC On Fox 31 as Jessica-Rose Clark will no longer be battling Andrea Lee in the Octagon.

My MMA News is reporting that the bout was canned after Clark was admitted to the hospital due to the affects of the weight cut for the fight.

Since there is less than a day before the event, it was also determined that Lee would also get pulled from the card because the promotion didn’t have time to find a suitable replacement opponent.

The following statement has been issued by the UFC:

“On Friday morning UFC flyweight Jessica-Rose Clark was deemed medically unfit to compete by UFC physicians. As a result the scheduled flyweight bout with Clark and Andrea Lee has been cancelled.”

There is no word yet on which bout from the UFC Fight Pass portion of the preliminary card will get moved up to the Fox Sports 1 portion of the preliminary card to replace Clark vs. Lee.

UFC On Fox 31 takes place on Saturday, December 15 from the Milwaukee Entertainment & Sports Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Kevin Lee and Al Iaquinta headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
