A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo as Jim Miller is going to be in action against Francisco Trinaldo.

Miller (28-10-0-1NC) enters the fight while riding a two fight losing streak, dropping fights to the duo of Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis. Miller hasn’t earned a victory in just about a year, with his last victory coming over Thiago Alves at UFC 205. Miller is also competing at a “Fight Night” event for the first time in nearly two years, with his last appearance at such an event coming at UFC Fight Night 80.
Trinaldo (21-5-0) has won seven of his last eight fights under the UFC banner, with notable wins coming over Paul Felder, Ross Pearson and Norman Parke. Trinaldo is competing for the fourth straight time in his native Brazil, he has a 2-1-0 record in those past three fights. Trinaldo is also a longtime veteran of the Jungle Fights promotion, where he suffered a defeat to fellow UFC fighter Iuri Alcantara.
UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo takes place on Saturday, October 28 from the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Lyoto Machida and Derek Brunson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
