Next week’s UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov event has taken a hit as Joe Solecki has withdrawn from a bout against Austin Hubbard.
Solecki announced the news himself through Instagram:
The UFC is searching for a replacement opponent to fight Hubbard, who is expected to remain on the card at this time.
Hubbard (11-4-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Kyle Prepolec at UFC Fight Night Vancouver. Hubbard is a former LFA Lightweight Champion, defeating Killys Mota to win the gold at LFA 56 in December of 2018. Hubbard has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov takes place on Saturday, June 20 from a location to be announced with Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
