Jon Jones vs. Brock Lesnar MMA rumors have been on fire since UFC 214, but the UFC Light Heayvweight Champion thought about showing up in his home state of New York to confront Lesnar, too.

Lesnar, the current WWE Universal Champion, is set to defend his championship at the August 20 Summerslam event in Brooklyn, New York. When a fan on Twitter asked Jones if he'd be at the event, he admitted that he had considered the move.

Jones defeated rival Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 in July, and called out Lesnar after the fight. As reported on the Fightful.com Podcast, we were told that due to Lesnar's suspension and WWE obligations, the fight likely wouldn't take place until summer of 2018.

Both men failed drug tests in relation to last year's UFC 200 event, with Lesnar retiring while still serving his suspension.
