Jon Jones is arguably one of the most dominant fighters in UFC history, and a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion -- a title he has never actually lost in the cage.
While Jones has definitely had his share of legal issues as well, it seems like he will be focusing on UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic when he eventually returns to the octagon, at least according to his recent tweets.
If it was for the actual title I would totally do it https://t.co/ur2Rq1ycOI

I'm starting to realize the hype is real with that guy. He's legit, I would be the challenge of a lifetime https://t.co/ybke2pAtAC

Jones has not competed since UFC 197, and failed drug test just a few days before UFC 200, where he was scheduled to fight UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in a title unification fight. Jones is the current UFC Interim Light Heavyweight Champion, a title which has not been stripped of him.
Cormier would go onto defeat late replacement Anderson Silva by unanimous decision, Silva himself is a former UFC Middleweight Champion. Miocic defended the UFC Heavyweight Title when he defeated Alistair Overeem by first round knockout this past weekend at UFC 203.
There is one huge obstacle that must be overcome before Jones can fight anybody-- he will be appearing in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission in the new few weeks to see what punishment he will be receiving for the failed drug test for clomiphene.
