Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been dealing with the repercussions of a second failed drug test.
The fighter was handed a provincial suspension from USADA, he was stripped of his UFC Light Heavyweight Title, and the win he earned at UFC 214 was overturned to a no contest. He's also looking at a future punishment from the California State Athletic Commission.
Jones hasn’t spoken out much since the second drug test failure, but the fighter did recently respond to a fan question on Twitter.
While responding to said question, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion states that he has never used steroids.
Dude the truth is I would never do steroids, I put that on my children and I put that on my Heavenly Father https://t.co/i8EEbrQU5x

USADA has confirmed that both the A sample and B sample of Jones’ drug test came back positive for the steroid known as Turinabol. Jones isn’t the only fighter to speak out in his own defense, as longtime teammate Frank Lester has stated the whole situation has been a set up from the beginning.
Once punishments are handed out by USADA and the CSAC, the former champion could be facing a four-year suspensions from the sport, since this is his second offense.
